Between April and October 2025, the all-suite Silver Spirit and Silver Dawn will undertake 30 voyages in Northern Europe and the British Isles, calling in dozens of fascinating destinations. From medieval to modern, ornate to rustic, warm to windswept, Silversea’s bespoke itineraries capture Europe’s Baltic, Norwegian, Atlantic and North Sea coasts in unmatched detail. Whether your passions run to regal castles or rustic villages, misty moors, silent fjords or glittering culinary capitals, these journeys will satisfy your most ardent wanderlust – immersing you in the authentic beauty of some 18 different nations. Ranging from 7 to 14 days, many of these sailings are combinable, enabling up to 31 days of uninterrupted discovery.

2025 NORTHERN EUROPE & THE BRITISH ISLES HIGHLIGHTS

Norway & Iceland

The UNESCO-listed Norwegian Fjords are a “must-see” for discerning travelers, and with good reason; their deep blue waters and steep mountains draped in emerald forests are among the longest and deepest in the world. Central to several itineraries, the fjords share the spotlight with Sweden, Denmark, and Iceland — countries celebrated for their picturesque scenery, geological wonders, and charming villages. Steeped in tradition, these Scandinavian lands are also rife with contemporary art and design.

The British Isles

With their blooming gardens and splendid estates, iconic coasts and gorgeous bays, the British Isles in summer are best described as enchanting. Indeed, here is where you’ll see puffins and ponies in the Shetlands, rolling pastures and legendary lochs in Scotland, and fiddles and pubs and cobbled streets throughout Ireland. But you’ll also find a land steeped in history, home to ancient stone monoliths (from Stonehenge to Callanish), medieval castles, majestic cathedrals, and mysterious legends.

Atlantic Coast

Along the Iberian coast, iconic sites offer a study in contrast — from the 800-year-old baroque Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela to Frank Gehry’s boundary-pushing Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. Three days in Bordeaux invite discovery of its famed wine lands by bike, hot air balloon or helicopter, while Brittany awaits with Saint-Malo’s swashbuckling corsair history and Mont Saint-Michel’s legendary Benedictine abbey. An overnight in Rouen allows for visits to Monet’s Garden or exploration in Paris.

The Baltic

From Tallinn and Riga to Visby and Gdańsk, the medieval ports of the Hanseatic League continue to captivate with their timeless charms and vibrant cultural legacies.
