Gelderland

Gelderlandis one of the twelve provinces of theNetherlands. It lies in the east of the country. It is sometimes called Gueldersin English.The capital isArnhem. However, bothNijmegenandApeldoornare larger cities, Nijmegen being the largest with nearly 170,000 inhabitants. Other major regional centres in Gelderland are Ede, Doetinchem, Zutphen, Tiel, Wageningen,Zevenaar,WinterswijkandHarderwijk.
